At our innovative Herriman Campus, we’re making a college degree more accessible than ever.Thanks to a groundbreaking partnership between the University of Utah and Salt Lake Community College, you can earn an associate’s degree in two years by taking SLCC courses before taking University of Utah courses to complete your bachelor’s degree, all without ever leaving our Herriman campus.
Students will have access to a full set of resources and services needed to successfully complete their degrees in a hybrid format. It truly is a one-stop shop to success.

Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS) focuses on understanding human growth and development across the lifespan. HDFS integrates knowledge from various disciplines such as psychology, sociology, economics and biology to provide a contemporary and comprehensive understanding of human behavior and family dynamics; and the impact cultural and societal factors have on the individual and families. Students gain practical knowledge in research methods, data analysis, and effective communication through classes and real-life opportunities.

The Financial Planning and Counseling program focuses on providing students with a comprehensive understanding of personal finance, investment strategies, risk management, retirement and estate planning, tax planning, and other relevant topics.
